11 Things I Learned This Weekend

1. I can still get excited to see my surf heros in person under normal conditions.
2. In Capo Beach, you don’t need a shirt to be in a bar.
3. I am not that scared of big waves, contrary to prior belief.
4. Wu Tang and Huey Lewis don’t get nearly enough air time at our house.
5. Entering—and exiting—the parking garage at The Getty is neither a fast, nor cool process.
6. Concerts at the Getty start at 6, not 8.
7. Leigh Ann will dramatically lose her car and house keys once per quarter.
8. Two naps on a Sunday is much more preferable than just one.
9. Family barbques are fun even when it’s not your family.
10. Packages from the mum that consist of anti-snail pellets, rocks, and baked goods never get old.
11. Life is pretty good, after all.
